Crawl Space
A few options for your weekend

Jason Genegabus

Thursday

"Power to the Peaceful Tour" and Brother Sun CD Release Party, 9 p.m. at Pipeline Cafe. Tickets: $25. Call 589-1999.

The former lead singer of Black Uhuru, legendary reggae artist Don Carlos, arrives in Honolulu for a gig at Pipeline Cafe.

The solo artist will appear alongside Sahra Indio with Hot Rain, Radja Bliss, DJ Zacharijah, and the North Shore Dance Project. Slam poet Kealoha will also perform.

Saturday and Sunday

"Back 2 Back Comedy Show," 7 p.m. at Pipeline Cafe. Tickets: $25. Call 589-1999.

Local residents continue to embrace the comedy of Filipino-American Rex Navarette. He's sold out a half-dozen shows at Pipeline since late last year, and continues the trend this weekend (Saturday's show is already sold out).

Opening for Navarette both nights is local comic Elroy Entendencia. Matt Flood rounds out Saturday's lineup, with Jose Dynamite taking his place on Sunday.

Saturday

"The Love Festival," 8 p.m. at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. Tickets: $20-$30. Call 591-3500.

House fans will make their annual pilgrimage to Kapolei this weekend, as DJs Reza, Keith Mackenzie, Craze and Baby Anne headline "The Love Festival."

Multiple stages mean lots of choices, with local DJs G-Spot, IKON, Mizota, Matthew Grim, Kause, Technique and others also on hand to help spin.
