HPD Web site
displays stolen items

Thousands of items recovered from a Kapahulu pawnshop allegedly selling stolen merchandise can be viewed on the Honolulu Police Department's Web site until the end of the month.

People wanting to claim their property must have filed a police report, including a list of items stolen, prior to April 8.

Victims will be asked to provide a police report number and any additional information that will help facilitate the return of items.

The items recovered from Ziggy's Pawn Gold and Diamond Buyers, 746 Kapahulu Ave., on April 9 include jewelry as well as surfboards, power tools, guitars, and cameras.

Any property not claimed by Aug. 1 will be sold at a police auction.
