He is survived by wife Kay K.; daughters Barbara J. "Bobbie" Cummings and Laura A. and Donna L.; sons Robert Y. Jr. and Carl Y.; brother George; sisters Florence Miyashiro and Gladys Spiess; and three grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Fred Ramos Augustine, 78, of Honolulu, a retired Kaiser Foundation Hospital employee and St. Francis Medical Center emergency room technician, died in Castle Medical Center.
