VIVA LAS VEGAS!: Adriane Flower, left, and Ocean Club General Manager Dan Punch looked on Saturday night as an IONA Contemporary Theatre Co. member glided through the crowd at Russell Tanoue's monthly Piranha Room party at the Ocean Club. "Las Vegas' 100th Anniversary" was the theme of the ever-popular event. A documentary film on the history of Vegas played silently on video screens while DJ Frankie and DJ R.O.B. provided party music in the DJ booth.

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN ELVIS!: Elvis impressionist Ron Short added an important visual ingredient to the Vegas theme when he danced on a drink rail with showgirls Justina Anderson, left, and Christine Thomas.

PAPARAZZI!: Jimi Wheeler, left, John Tolentino and Brad Mezurashi played the role of photographers for Las Vegas Magazine. A photographer's backdrop inside the club was set up so that everyone could get a photo of themselves on the cover of the magazine.

PARTY TIME: Larry Goniron, left, Jordan Segundo and Jason Ulep enjoyed the party in the VIP area. Segundo is helping Russell Tanoue with the preparations for Tanoue's 10th Annual Birthday Party/Project Shine Celebration at the Ocean Club on July 9.

HANA HOU FROM VEGAS: Russell Tanoue, center, brought DJ R.O.B., left, and DJ Frankie, back from Vegas for the party. Proceeds from the monthly Piranha Room parties help fund Tanoue's Project Shine. The birthday party scheduled for July 9 also benefits the American Cancer Society.
