Family and friends watched members of Halau Hula Na Pua Lani of the Larawan Center perform Sunday at the Philippine Consulate. The consulate was celebrating Kalayaan 2005, marking the Philippines' independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. Visible in the crowd were Grace Dacuycuy, left, Cecilia Orodio, Lani Aglia, Pearl Ceria, Trey Gascon, Madeline Gascon, Daryenne Ramirez, Jazmin Saribay, Jhadyne Aglia and Renalyn Gascon.
