Kona gains L.A. flight
for the summer

Pleasant Holidays is starting a temporary, twice-weekly ATA Airlines flight between Los Angeles and Kona tomorrow that will run through Aug. 28.

The new service will add 400 airline seats a week to the Big Island from its No. 1 market, the Big Island Visitors Bureau said.

The flight will arrive direct from Los Angeles every Sunday and Monday at 11:45 a.m. and return Sunday and Monday at 12:45 p.m.
