» Renee Dona brought her dog, Mulder, to be blessed at the Hawaii Dazaifu Tenmangu temple. A photo caption on Page A2 Tuesday had incorrect names for the woman and the dog.

A bodysurfer was engulfed in whitewash yesterday afternoon at Point Panic. Surf is expected to be in the 2- to 4-foot range on south shores and 3 to 6 feet on east shores today.
