NEW LINE CINEMA Jane Fonda, left, plays a woman at odds with her son's fiance, played by Jennifer Lopez, in "Monster-in-Law."

» "Kicking & Screaming": Will Ferrell plays a mild-mannered soccer dad transformed into a win-at-all-costs coach for his son's team. He ends up going head to head against his overly competitive father's team for the league championship, and both Ferrell and Robert Duvall go to extreme measures to win the trophy. (PG)

» "Mindhunters": A group of FBI profiler cadets learn there's a serial killer in their midst while training on a remote island. Originally directed by Renny Harlin back in 2002, the movie stars Val Kilmer, LL Cool J, Christian Slater, Eion Bailey and Kathryn Morris. (R)

» "Monster-in-Law": For her first role in 15 years, Jane Fonda plays a just-fired star news anchor who is driven nearly mad with disapproval when her handsome-doctor son (Michael Vartan) gets engaged to a dog-walking, catering-hall-waitress temp (Jennifer Lopez). Fearing she will lose her son's affections as she has her career, she decides to break up the happy couple by becoming the world's worst mother-in-law, with the help of her longtime assistant (Wanda Sykes). (PG-13)

» "Unleashed": Jet Li stars as Danny the Dog, a silent, haunted orphan who's been raised since childhood by a cockney crime boss (Bob Hoskins) to function like an obedient and lethal fighting machine who earns his due in illegal fight clubs. But when Danny escapes, he's taken in by a gentle blind man (Morgan Freeman) on the run from the bad guys. (R)
