Andy Armadillo, corporate mascot for Texas Roadhouse, made a rare appearance yesterday at Ohana Ola O Kahumana, a 14-unit transitional housing program in Waianae. Nearly 1,000 Roadhouse employees descended on two other Leeward Oahu nonprofit facilities to help build, paint and fix them. Texas Roadhouse has no restaurants in Hawaii, but pitches in to help the community hosting its annual conference each year.
