Paris might
film on Maui

Season three filming of "The Simple Life," starring Paris Hilton and Kimberly Stewart (likely replacement for Nicole Ritchie), is being considered for Maui in May. Twentieth Century Fox TV publicists only will say, "We are currently discussing internally the creative direction of the show" ...

"Lost" wraps filming tomorrow, with production of the 26-episode second season beginning late July. The wrap party was Sunday at the Paul Mitchell estate, which cost the production $3,500.

Guest starring in the season finale is Michelle Rodriguez, who was last here for "Blue Crush."

Ian Somerhalder, who played the recently deceased Boone, said that isn't the last "Lost" character to die. "There are gonna be a lot more," he said.

The rubber baby on 'Lost' looks so real, its head drops back if not supported by a hand.


The artificial rubber baby prop delivered in a recent episode by actress Emilie de Ravin's character cost $8,000 and weighs 7 3/4 pounds. It's so real that you have to hold its head like a real baby or it falls backward.

Madison, the 5-year-old female Labrador retriever who plays Walt's dog, Vincent, was originally trained as a tracking dog and obedience competitor. In 2001 she was ranked eighth among the best obedience dogs in Hawaii. "Lost" is Madison's first acting gig, and was cast after spending just 10 minutes with series creator J.J. Abrams.

The Lab works only about one day each week. Her trainer is Kim Stahl.

Some of the 1,500 props and equipment to be auctioned from Fox's "North Shore" include electric cars, jet skis, fish tanks, teak furniture, a boat, surfboards and a "shrimp" truck. The Grand Waimea hotel set built in the sound stage still hasn't been removed. Auction date to be announced soon ...
