A 2005 Hummer H2 loomed over 8-year-old John Vincent of Ewa Beach yesterday at the First Hawaiian Bank International Auto Show at the Hawai'i Convention Center. Hundreds of new cars, trucks, minivans and sport utility vehicles were on display during the four-day event. Kids under 13 got in free yesterday.

Lama Tempa Gyeltshen of the Kagyu Thegchen Ling Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center performed the lama dance yesterday during the Hana Matsuri Buddha Day Service at the McKinley High School Auditorium. The event celebrated the birthday of Siddhartha Bodhisattva, who attained enlightenment in India as the Shakyamuni Buddha.
