The men from Ka Leo O Laka i Ka Hikina O Ka La did a mele overlooking the cliffs of the Kilauea caldera yesterday on the Big Island. The halau is competing in the kane division of the 42nd Merrie Monarch Festival, which begins today. Some 5,000 people are attending this year's festival.
