"Because of Winn-Dixie": A lonely girl adopts an orphaned dog, and names it after the popular Southern supermarket chain, where she found it. The dog helps her to make friends and heal her troubled relationship with her father. AnnaSophia Robb, Jeff Daniels and Dave Matthews star in this Wayne Wang-directed movie., based on the best-seller. (PG)

"Constantine": Keanu Reeves stars as a world-traveling, misfit who investigates supernatural mysteries, walking a thin line between good and evil. He teams up with a Los Angeles police detective (Rachel Weisz), who seeks his help while investigating the suicide-like death of her twin sister, and in the process, runs into a mysterious group called "The First of the Fallen." It's loosely based on the long-running DC Comics/Vertigo title. (R)

"Son of the Mask": Years after the Jim Carrey original, the Mask of Loki finds its way into the hands of an aspiring cartoonist (Jamie Kennedy) whose son is born possessing some of its spectacular powers. But when Loki comes to earth looking for his "son," a power struggle of epic, cartoonlike contortions ensues. (PG)
