Residents asked to give
during blood drive

Oahu residents can help save lives just by taking about an hour to give blood at various Blood Bank of Hawaii drives, starting Feb. 4. Many patients count on volunteer blood donors for their survival every day.

Donors must be in good health, be 18 years of age or older, weigh 110 pounds or more, and provide a valid photo identification card.

» Feb. 4 -- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hawaii Pacific University, Hawaii Loa campus
» Feb. 5 -- 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Town Center of Mililani
» Feb. 6 -- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Waikele Center, across from Borders
» Feb. 10 -- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Kapiolani Community College
» Feb. 11 -- 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., UH-Manoa Campus Center, room 220
» Feb. 12 -- 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Town Center of Mililani
» Feb. 20 -- 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Daiei in Kailua
» Feb. 25 -- 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., City and County Municipal Building
» Feb. 26 -- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Foodland, Ewa Town Center
