Got a question?
Ask local newsmakers

The Star-Bulletin is joining PBS Hawaii (KHET) in broadcasting the Monday evening public affairs program, Island Insights. The show will be aired at 7:30 p.m. every Monday.

Most of the broadcasts will offer the public an opportunity to submit questions for the state's leading newsmakers appearing on the show. The show is alternately hosted by Dan Boylan, West Oahu University professor and MidWeek columnist, and Richard Borreca, Star-Bulletin Capitol Bureau chief and columnist.

E-mail your questions to the Star-Bulletin. A selection of the best questions will be asked of the newsmakers.

Your first chance will be when Borreca questions House Speaker Calvin Say and Senate President Robert Bunda about their plans for the 2005 Legislature. That show will be broadcast at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Send questions by Jan. 26 to islandinsights@starbulletin.com
