Jung Yoon could barely close his mouth after cramming extra-spicy kim chee into it during the fourth annual Korean Festival, held Saturday at Kapiolani Park. Yoon placed third in the competition.

Young Moon Lee let out a yell while beating a "buk," a traditional Korean drum. Lee played at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand with the Korean drumming group Beosumsae, of Brigham Young University-Hawaii.

Shaun Serikaku, 3, enjoyed one of many of the rides at Saturday's festival, which was sponsored by the Hawaii Korean Chamber of Commerce and featured exhibits about Korean culture, food and entertainment.
