First Hawaiian gives $5,000 to health effort

Pacific Health Ministry has received a $5,000 grant from First Hawaiian Foundation, the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank.

The funds will be used to support the ministry's Clinical Pastoral Education Center. The nonprofit corporation was established in 1986 to provide multifaith, communitywide and emotional care services.

Church offers weekly seminar on divorce

First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu will offer a DivorceCare seminar every Thursday night for 12 weeks, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Thursday.
