No crime at
In4mation’s
crime scene

Don't freak out if you're at Ward Warehouse today and it looks like a crime scene at one of the stores.

All the yellow tape, evidence bags and other forensic items you'll see at In4mation are part of the "Dressed to Kill" exhibition that takes place from 7 to 10 p.m.

"We're doing (this) to pretty much cover the history of the participants in what they are doing in the market of apparel," says In4mation's Todd Shimabuku. "We're also going to be giving a complete list of accomplishments ... to give our consumers a better insight of the designs that they do."

Designers like Alyasha Owerka-Moore (co-creator of Phat Farm), Dennis Calvero (Ecko Unlimited) and Anthony Harrison (Akademiks) have all designed displays for the exhibition, and Hawaii residents Ian GinozaJules Gayton (Stussy/Leilow) and Rhandy Tambio (In4mation/Ecko) will also take part. Keith Kanagusuku (In4mants Web Design) and Invisible:Man will represent Japan, and Killer of Giants photographer Angela Boatwright rounds out the list of featured artists.

Following the exhibition, an afterparty is scheduled at Indigo. DJs Delve, 45 and Mr. Inc will spin, with Gayton also jumping on the decks. Call 597-1447 ...

The Opihi Pickers and Herb Ohta Jr. will also perform, and KCCN FM-100's Billy V will split hosting duties for the evening with Japanese radio personality Mihiko Taylor.
