Geophysicist Barry Hirshorn worked yesterday at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach. Authorities say Hawaii's warning system now is so good that the isles could get as many as three hours' warning from the sort of tsunami that has devastated Indian Ocean coastal areas.
