Collision with car kills
motorcyclist; 2 injured

A 32-year-old man was killed and two teens were injured in an accident involving a motorcycle and a car yesterday afternoon in Ewa Beach, an Emergency Medical Services supervisor said.

The man was riding a motorcycle without a helmet when the accident occurred about 3:32 p.m. near the intersection of Ewa Beach and Fort Weaver roads, the EMS supervisor said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle hit the passenger's side of the car. A 14-year-old girl riding in the car was flown by helicopter to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition, the EMS supervisor said.

The 17-year-old driver of the car was taken to the Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi in serious condition.

The accident was under investigation last night, but the motorcycle appeared to be speeding, police said.
