Stolen car recovered
beside break-in
at Circuit Court

Police said a man was apparently using a stolen car yesterday while allegedly breaking into a deputy city prosecutor's car in the Circuit Court parking structure.

Police said that at about 10 a.m. the victim was walking to his car when he saw the suspect getting out of the victim's car with his car stereo. Police were called and discovered that the vehicle parked right next to the victim's car had been reported stolen earlier from an auto detailing shop.

Police found that there was other property located in the stolen car belonging to other cars in the Circuit Court lot that had also been broken into. Police arrested the suspect for investigation of auto theft and unauthorized entry into an automobile. A female sitting in the stolen car was also arrested for detaining stolen property.
