Tecau captures fourth Futures tennis title

Horia Tecau won his fourth USTA Pro Circuit Futures tennis title yesterday at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island.

Tecau defeated Wayne Odesnik 6-4, 6-4 in a matchup of players with opposite styles. Tecau is a serve-and-volleyer, while Odesnik has a big back-court game.

"My serve was pretty big today and I volleyed pretty well," Tecau said. "I got a couple of chances on his serve, played a couple of good points and that's how I got the breaks."
