return from San Francisco today. He went there to receive a kidney transplant, getting the organ from Debbie. When doctors in the Bay Area kept him longer than expected, he called City Hall here and requested that an absentee ballot be sent to him by express mail. He received it Monday night, filled it out, was driven to S.F. airport Tuesday, Election Day, and sent it to Honolulu. David's sister-in-law, Lisa Josephsohn
, picked up the ballot package at United Air Cargo and rushed it to Honolulu Hale in time to be counted. ...
