Robbery suspect arrested
in South Carolina

A 23-year-old suspect in a March Moanalua robbery and a May Kalihi shoplifting case was arrested Monday in South Carolina in a hit-and-run traffic collision.

Beaufort County deputy sheriffs who were investigating the collision arrested William T. Earheart IV on an outstanding federal warrant.

Earheart is a suspect in the March 31 robbery of a teller window at the Cash N Advance at the Moanalua Shopping Center. He allegedly displayed a handgun, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Earheart was charged in a May 13 shoplifting case in Kalihi but used the name Joshua Molone Johnson. He was released from Honolulu District Court May 17.

Earheart was featured on the Sept. 8 cover of MidWeek as one of Hawaii's most wanted. CrimeStoppers received numerous calls about Earheart.
