What qualifies you to be a state representative?

I am an advocate for our community and have the record to solve problems. I have obtained funding for our senior citizen programs and area schools, and have improved security and traffic conditions in our neighborhood.

What would you do to combat the state's crystal methamphetamine abuse epidemic?

In 2004, the Legislature approved an action plan to provide $14 million for ICE treatment and prevention programs (particularly for middle school students), and increase criminal penalties for traffickers and manufacturers. I will work to ensure that this legislation is implemented and enhanced.

What can the Legislature do to improve Oahu's traffic congestion?

Divert traffic to other areas of the island and implement a mass transit system.
