The 11th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival at Kapiolani Park on Saturday celebrated the diversity, talent, culture, arts and food of Hawaii's Hispanic community. Janai Zamora, left, Brianna Cuellar, Sofie Cuellar, Victoria Marquez, Sandra Rangel and Jessica Sousa of the Folklorico Del Mar dance group waited for their turn to perform. The group came from San Pedro, Calif., specifically to perform at the festival.

Charles Hua wielded the head of the Kuo Min Tang Physical Culture Association's dragon at the 93rd annual Double Ten Anniversary Parade yesterday in Chinatown. The parade honors Dr. Sun Yat Sen, founder of the Republic of China.
