She will be responsible for hiring, career assessment and development, succession planning, management development and customer service enhancement. She previously worked at Towers Perrin and the Gallup Organization.

» Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. has hired Mike Kinoshita and Arlene Tanaka in its new construction services division. Kinoshita has been hired as vice president. He will be responsible for new business development and client service. He previously worked in Honolulu for a national insurance company. Tanaka has been hired as an account manager. She will oversee the surety department, issue bid and performance bonds, and help manage the construction services division. She previously worked in a local insurance agency's bond department.

» Bishop Museum has appointed Amy Miller director of development. She will be oversee the museum's fund-raising efforts. She most recently served as the Kewalo Basin Marine Mammal Lab and the Dolphin Institute development coordinator and graduate researcher.

» American Savings Bank's Financial Services Group has hired Robert Goldsberry as a financial consultant. He will cater to customers at the bank's Kailua-Kona, Lanihau Sack N Save, Kamuela/Waimea and Kealakekua branches.
