The Aloha Festivals Royal Court float passed by during yesterday's Aloha Festivals Floral Parade in Waikiki. Float awards went to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Grand Sweepstakes winner; Hawaiian Airlines, President's Award; and Pacific Coast Pageants, Non-Commercial Winner. Pa'u Awards went to Niihau, Governor's Award; Oahu, President's Award; Molokai, Ambassador's Award; and Kauai, Most Outstanding Unit. Freemasons threw mock boxes of tea from the Falls of Clyde during a re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party yesterday. Each September the Honolulu Masons re-enact the event as part of a Masonic Constitutional program honoring the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
