Seasiders move up in water polo poll

The Brigham Young-Hawaii water polo team climbed three spots to No. 14 in the Collegiate Coaches Water Polo poll released yesterday.

The Seasiders defeated Pacific twice last week and put their ranking, which matches the highest in the program's history, on the line today against No. 1 Stanford in Laie. They'll play No. 20 California Baptist tomorrow and Monday.

Vulcan volleyball tickets on sale

Tickets for the UH-Hilo volleyball season are on sale at the UHH ticket office.

Prices for the seven-match home schedule at the UHH gymnasium are $30 (adults) and $15 (students and senior citizens 60 and over). Individual game tickets are $6 (adults) and $3 students.

Road Runners host Pali race

The Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club will host the Old Pali Road 4.5-mile Run on Sunday.

The run starts at 7 a.m. Registration starts at 6 a.m. off Kamehameha Highway, near the H-3 freeway. The cost is $2 for MPRRC members and $5 for non-members.
