The presence of "ice" in our established urban neighborhood threatens our safety and security and devastates the lives of its victims. I would press for meaningful and effective sanctions against drug-related crimes. ...

I fully support the governor's fight to have the voters decide whether to break up the centralized Board of Education. Genuine local control cannot be realized until governance that affords full authority ... is brought to the community level.
