Stacey Hayashi, a repair and material analyst for Hawaiian Airlines, used tweezers yesterday to fasten status flowers, petal by petal, to a model of a Hawaiian Air Boeing 717 which will be affixed to a float for tomorrow's Aloha Festivals parade. Hawaiian Airlines is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Hayashi and other Hawaiian Air employees started working on the float, some of which can be seen in the background, on Tuesday.
