‘Living’ in Paradise
is also entertaining

Oceanic cable's homegrown OC16 channel has launched "Living & Entertaining in Paradise," which focusses on the many ways people in Hawaii hold special occasions in their unique homes.

Produced by Susanne Kurisu, it is hosted by singer Dita Holifield and promoter Robz Yamane. Each episode debuts at 9 p.m. Monday and repeats 18 times during the week.

Next Monday, the pair visit the Sullivan Estate at Pupukea with guests Bill Bruhl and Philip Richardson. Upcoming episodes include a "girl's lunch" in Kailua (Sept. 20) and the home of artist Kim Taylor Reece (Sept. 27).

All four September episodes will repeat during October.

"There is tremendous interest in home design and entertaining," explained Kurisu. "This is not just another cooking show."

Sponsors include Design Home, City Mill, Selective Stone, Hawaiian Airlines, Nextel, Cycle City and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
