Isle devotees of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness celebrated the Lord Shri Krishna's birthday at the group's temple in Nuuanu yesterday evening. Krishna Janmashtami, as it is formally known, is one of India's most popular cultural festivals, with chanting, dancing and vegetarian fare.
