Standing at the entrance of Manoa Chinese Cemetery is a tall statue depicting the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuangdi (259-210 B.C.). Among other accomplishments, the emperor is credited with building the Great Wall of China.

The destroyer USS Russell returned to Pearl Harbor yesterday after nearly four months at sea taking part in exercises in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei.
