» Servco Scion has appointed staff members for its first Oahu dealership. Roderick "Rod" J. Saunders was hired as general manager. He was as a commercial mortgage consultant. Edward Higa and Alonzo Cobbin have been appointed as sales managers. Higa was the Servco Toyota City dealership's financial services manager. Cobbin was Saturn Honolulu sales manager. Also hired as product information consultants are Ronald Ching, Julie Johnson, Gaye Oshiro, Mathew Pederson, Kyle Suliven and Tolone "Tony" Thairathom. Ching previously worked as a ABC Music and Yamaha Music Center office manager and sales consultant. Johnson previously worked for Servco Integrated Office Technology. Oshiro most recently worked in sales for Salvatore Ferragamo. Pederson was a City Mill supervisor. Suliven was a Circuit City product specialist. Thairathom was a Pflueger Auto Value Center sales consultant.

» First Hawaiian Bank has promoted four employees. Neill A. Char has been promoted to University Banking Center vice president and branch manager. Wayne H. Matsumura has been promoted to Kapiolani Banking Center assistant vice president and business banking officer. Barbara K.J. Nitta has been promoted to Human Resources Division assistant vice president. Katharine H. Kam has been promoted to Mililani Branch manger.
