>> The Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki & Golf Club has appointed Jeff Marcello as director of food and beverage, and Jerry Martin Smith as sous chef. Marcello most recently worked as Koolau Catering Partners general manager. Smith has more than 14 years in the culinary industry.

>> Kitchen Concepts Plus Inc. has hired Joan Robinson-Whitaker as a designer. She has 25 years of experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, facilities, health care and retail design. She previously was self-employed in partnership with her husband as an architect at Robinson Whitaker Design.

>> Fair Wind Cruises has appointed Penn Henderson as sales and marketing director. He previously served as Mauna Lani Resort marketing director.

>> WCIT Architecture has appointed Robert K. Iopa as president. He will be responsible for leading design and project management on resort and luxury residential projects. He previously worked for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo and Architects Hawaii.

>> M&E Pacific Inc., a Hawaii consulting engineering firm, has hired Lloyd Lee as neighbor island project director. He will oversee projects for the company's Big Island, Maui and Kauai offices. >> Olomana Marketing has promoted Natalie Bostrom to senior project manager. She will be responsible for support staff program planning and supervision/training. She joined the firm in 2002 as an intern.

>> Punahou School has named Betsy Hata admission director. She previously served as admission associate director. She will replace Curt Hagen.

>> Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii Inc. has promoted Anna Fiesta to accounts payable supervisor/office manager. She has been with the company since March 2003.

>> American Savings Bank has honored Paul Hirano and Swee Wah as Oahu's 2003 Residential Sales Officers of the Year. Hirano is a senior loan officer with more than 13 years of experience in the banking industry. He serviced 307 loans totaling $60.5 million in 2003. Wah is a senior loan officer with more than 11 years experience in the banking industry. She serviced 288 loans totaling $56.1 million.
