Where is the last place you would want
to be stranded?

"Outer space. You'd run out of food."

"In the middle of the desert. There's nobody out there, and there's no food or water. You're stuck."

"In the water. At least if I'm on land, there's a possibility of me finding help."

Does Honolulu need two rock stations?

"Probably, yeah. A better one is always nice."

"They should, for variety. If you're into the music, you should have more than one station. I listen to Star (101.9) ... but I was shocked that (97.5 KPOI) went off the air."

"If I was someone who liked rock, I guess so, but I don't really listen to that kind of music. I understand why they would probably want two (stations)."

What are you going to wear on the first
day of classes this semester?

"My birthday suit! Probably just a pair of jeans and a shirt -- I'm not a trend fanatic. It's college; it doesn't matter what you wear."

"I have no clue. T-shirt and shorts? Whatevers."

"I have no idea. Comfortable walking shoes! I'm going to wear something that I won't sweat a lot in. It's going to be hot."

Barometer of Cool appears on Saturdays, compiled by Jason Genegabus.
