"Stuart O" enjoyed a small wave yesterday at "Flies," off Kakaako Waterfront Park. The large surf along Oahu's South Shore dropped dramatically overnight, but Honolulu lifeguards reported rescuing four swimmers. City Ocean Safety Division dispatcher Rob Miller said the surf peaked in the morning, with waves reaching about 8 feet, but by afternoon it dropped to about 4 feet. He said safety officials are preparing for another swell Thursday and Friday.
