Children from the Curran family sought shade under a big umbrella in Kakaako yesterday. Charchar, 4, Cydney, 5, Charis, 6, Jayce, 7, and Alika, 5, sat together. The basketball tournament took place Saturday and yesterday. Teams could choose 3-on-3 half-court or 4-on-4 full-court double-elimination play.
