Firefighters removed a man pinned in a 1987 GMC pickup truck yesterday after it overturned while headed toward downtown on Pali Highway in Nuuanu. The 68-year-old male driver apparently fell asleep about 10 a.m., police said. The truck went up the embankment on the right lane and turned over on its side. The man was taken by ambulance to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
