Judy Bauckham and other Polly Twirlers square-danced their way down Kainalu Drive yesterday during the 58th Annual Fourth of July parade in Kailua. The parade featured dancers, bands and floats celebrating the national holiday.

Local and Japanese hula halau performed yesterday at the Third Annual Hula Ho'olauna Aloha 2004 exhibition at Ala Moana Centerstage. Among the dancers were Matsuko Oda, left, Hitomi Takamatsu and Yoriko Ito from Hula Studio Lei of Japan.
