Stuffs

[ PREVIEW ]

Opening in theaters tomorrow:

"Spider-Man 2": The 2002 original racked up more than $400 million at American theaters, making it the fifth largest-grossing movie of all time. And there's no reason why this sequel will not do as well, if not better.

With the super-powered trio of Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and director Sam Raimi returning (along with Rosemary Harris, James Franco and J.K. Simmons in the supporting cast), the villain this time around is the tentacled Doctor Octavius, played by Alfred Molina.

With a budget said to be double that of the original, at $200 million, expect breathtaking CGI as Spidey battles Doc Ock. But the story of the hero's alter ego Peter Parker is no less important as he deals with his relationships with love interest Mary Jane Watson and friend Harry Osborne -- the son of original villain, the Green Goblin -- who seeks to avenge his father's death. (PG-13)
