RUNNING

Jamba Juice BananaMan Chase: Open to all runners, walkers, strollers, and families of all ages. Everyone invited to the fourth annual Jamba Juice 5-Kilometer Banana Man Chase, July 10. The Jamba BananaMan Chase begins at Ala Moana Park (near McCoy Pavilion) at 7 a.m. and is a benefit for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Hawaii. Billed as Hawaii's wackiest race, competitors chase runners dressed in Jamba BananaMan costumes with the goal of beating the BananaMan. The top finishers in each category receives Jamba smoothies for a year. Entry forms available at all Jamba Juice locations and a free T-shirt is guaranteed if your application is postmarked by June 18. Applications also available online at jambahawaii.com.
