art
CINDY ELLEN RUSSELL / CRUSSELL@STARBULLETIN.COM
Felicidad Fontanella and Irene Oallesma harvested pineapple yesterday to be placed on the boom of an infield harvestor packing machine at the Dole plantation in Central Oahu. The fruit of the bromeliad plant takes 18 months to grow for harvesting but the plantation is able to harvest year round due to efficient crop management.
