PROMOTIONS

» The Marimed Foundation has promoted Jim Ford to program director of the Kailana Residential Treatment Program. He will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the program. He previously served as Marimed's chemical dependency director. The company has also hired two associates. Eric Seibenick was hired as the vocational site manager and agriculture instructor. He will be responsible for teaching and managing the integrated vocational projects for the program. He was most recently with the Hawaii Job Corps. Also new to the foundation is Patrick Uchima. He has been hired as the new culinary arts instructor for the program. He was most recently with Pasta Italia and Waikele Cafe.

» Trilogy Excursions has promoted Carey Dulin to human resources director and Colleen Neilsen to reservations supervisor. Dulin will continue in her current role as front office manager in addition to her new responsibilities. Neilsen has worked at the company for three years.

» Communications Pacific promoted two new employees to account executives. Melissa Malahoff-Kamei joined the company as an account coordinator in the firm's corporate communications group in 2003. Carissa Shimon joined the firm as an assistant account executive, also last year. She previously worked for Hill & Knowlton's Irvine, Calif., office as an account coordinator.
