Brad Pitt: Plays Achilles in "Troy."

"Breakin' All the Rules": Jamie Foxx stars as a guy who, after being unceremoniously dumped by his fiancée (Gabrielle Union), pens a "how to" book on breaking up and becomes a best-selling author on the subject in the process. Not wanting his male friends to suffer the same fate, he gives them advice on dumping their mates. (PG-13)

"Troy": The movie, featuring Brad Pitt's first starring role in three years, is based on the Homeric epic "The Iliad," one of history's greatest love-and-war stories. Young Paris of Troy (Orlando Bloom) falls for the famous Greek beauty Helen (Diane Kruger), who then leaves her husband, King Menelaus of Sparta (Brendan Gleeson), who hires the mercenary Achilles (Pitt) to storm Troy and bring her back. Sworn to uphold the great city is Prince Hector (Eric Bana), who goes mano-a-mano with Achilles in the movie's climactic fight. (R)
