Long John Silver's offers free shrimp

Water on Mars means free shrimp here on Earth.

Long John Silver's is giving away giant shrimp tomorrow, in celebration of the discovery by NASA's Rover that there could well be ocean water on Mars.

It's one shrimp per customer from 2 to 5 p.m. at restaurants in Moanalua Shopping Center and the Town Center of Mililani.

The celebration includes an autograph session with the Hawaiian Islanders arena football players, cheerleaders and mascot.

Those giant shrimp, by the way, are the largest the restaurant has served -- measuring at least 5 inches. They come battered and fried.

Call 422-8629 (Moanalua) or 625-6724 (Mililani).
