Man who lost hands
to talk about safety

Motivational speaker Billy Robbins, who lost both hands after he touched a high-voltage power line in a workplace accident, will present a 90-minute session on how to create an accident-free job site at a health and safety conference scheduled for Wednesday through next Friday at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

Gov. Linda Lingle will also speak at the conference -- the eighth biennial Governor's Pacific Rim Safety and Health Conference -- on the importance of a healthy workplace.

Keynote speaker John Henshaw, head of the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration, will talk about emerging health and safety workplace issues.
