He also served nearly five years as export administration chief counsel in the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

» Angela Kwong has been hired as a marketing representative for Xerox Hawaii. She will introduce the company's complete line of document processing equipment and services to new and existing commercial accounts. She previously served as general manager for the Windward 24 Hour Fitness and has more than 15 years of experience in sales, staff training and customer service management.

» American Savings Bank has hired Patricia Terry as assistant vice president and branch manager. She previously served as a Bank of America assistant vice president and branch manager in Hampton, Va.

» Hawaiiana Management Co. has promoted Bruce Howe to vice president of training and special promotions and Steve Pherigo to director of training. Bush will be responsible for the training and continuing education of the company's management executives and support staff, as well as planning and implementing new client services programs.
