Luke Malby, left, and Julia Stiles star in "The Prince & Me."

Opening this Friday in theaters:

"Hellboy": An investigator of supernatural and paranormal events (Ron Perlman) -- who also happens to be a demon -- discovers that his latest case involves the same evil forces that brought him to Earth. Accompanying him are fellow agents, including the pyrokinetic Liz and Abe Sapien, a mysterious amphibian hominid. Guillermo Del Toro ("Mimic" and "Blade II") directs. (PG-13)

"Home on the Range": This Disney animated musical comedy is set in the Wild West, where a herd of cows band with other animals to save their farm, and to avoid being sold to the local meat-packing plant. The voice cast includes Judi Dench, Cuba Gooding Jr., Randy Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker, Roseanne, and Steve Buscemi. (PG)

"The Prince & Me": Julia Stiles stars in this romantic tale as a free-spirited college student who discovers that her boyfriend is actually a Danish prince hiding in America to avoid his royal responsibilities. (PG)

"Walking Tall": Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson stars in this fictionalized account based on a true story of a man who fought crime in his hometown by becoming the county's sheriff. The Rock plays a retired soldier who finds that his wealthy high school rival has turned his Southern hometown into a haven for crime. (PG-13)
